How to Create a Signature and Add a Disclaimer

learn how to create the signature and add a disclaimer at the end of your emails.

First you want to select the "Settings" option from the dropdown menu that you will find when you click your email/username at the right corner of your screen.

Once you are in the settings page look for "Email Accounts" on the left and click that.

This will pull up the email accounts you are using. Select the one you'd like to edit and it will take you to this page:

Scroll down until you see the "Signature" option. Click on the arrow on the right to expand and you will find a text box where you can paste your signature.

To add an image click on the Picture Icon and upload your photo by clicking anywhere in the "Image Uploader" box as shown below. You can resize the image you upload within the text box by using the anchor points.

Click "Save" to apply the changes made.


To add the Disclaimer you will remain in the same page and scroll down a bit until you find the "Opt-out Text" option.

Once you click that it will expand and show you this. Make sure "Unsubscribe via opt-out link" is selected and paste your disclaimer on the text line right under "Text at the bottom of email" as shown below.

Wrap the text you want to use as an opt-out hyperlink in {curly brackets}. You can see an example of text you can use as you hyperlink highlighted below.

To apply any changes made click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
