Learn how to connect a LinkedIn account to be able to use LinkedIn automation

  1. Open a new tab in a web browser and go to www.linkedin.com.

  2. Depending on the browser you use, do either of the following:

    In Chrome, right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect.
    Then open the Application tab, select Cookies -> https://www.linkedin.com, find the li_at cookie and copy its value:

In Safari, right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect Element.
Then navigate to the Storage tab, select Cookies -> https://www.linkedin.com, find the li_at cookie and copy its value:

3. Go to PeopleLinx Settings -> LinkedIn Accounts tab and click the Plus button in the top right corner.

4. On the LinkedIn account page that appears:

  • Provide the Account Name for the LinkedIn account.

  • In the LinkedIn session cookie field, paste the value of the li_at cookie you copied at Step 2 and hit the Test button to validate the cookie. Once it's validated a green dot appears next to it.

  • Switch on Use Sales Navigator, if needed.

  • Update the default values of the Connections & Messages and Replies Detection limits, if needed.

  • Hit Save.

You are all set! Your LinkedIn account is ready for use.
