When warmup is enabled for your accounts, warmup emails will begin landing in your inbox, identified by a warmup tag.

To ensure your main inbox remains organized, these emails can be automatically sorted into a dedicated "Warmup" folder. Emails that land in the spam folder are automatically moved back to the inbox and do not require filtering.

Follow the steps below to create warmup filters for Gmail or Outlook.

Creating a Warmup Filter in Gmail

You can set up a warmup filter on your Gmail account using the following steps:

  1. Locate the Warmup Tag

    • This will be provided to you by your Account Manager or our default tag is MNWVQ8K.

    • Copy the filter tag.

  2. Create a "Warmup" Folder

    • In your Gmail account, create a new folder (label) named "Warmup."

  3. Set Up a Filter

    • Open Gmail settings and navigate to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.

    • Click "Create a new filter," and in the "Subject" or "Has the words" field, paste your warmup tag.

    • Click "Create filter" to open filter settings.

  4. Apply Filter Rules

    • Select the following options:

      • Skip the Inbox (Archive it)

      • Mark as read

      • Apply the label: Warmup

      • Also apply filter to matching conversations.

  5. Save the Filter

    • Click Create Filter to finalize the setup.

Creating a Warmup Filter in Outlook

To set up a warmup filter in Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Warmup Tag

    • This will be provided to you by your Account Manager or our default tag is MNWVQ8K.

    • Copy the filter tag.

  2. Navigate to Rules

    • In your Outlook account, go to the "Rules" section.

  3. Set the Condition

    • Create a new rule and choose "Subject or Body includes" as the condition.

    • Paste the warmup tag into the field.

  4. Add Actions

    • Add the following actions to the rule:

      • Mark as read

      • Move to the Warmup folder (create this folder if it doesn’t exist).

  5. Save and Apply the Rule

    • Click Save to create the rule.

    • To apply it immediately, select the "Run this rule now" option.

By following these steps, you can ensure warmup emails are automatically sorted into a dedicated folder, keeping your primary inbox clutter-free.
